Global Utility Company, a Canada-headquartered energy and utilities provider operating in more than 70 countries, was struggling with disparate on-premises systems, heavy customization, and manual finance, supply chain, HR, and project processes. These issues created inefficiencies, higher management costs, and poorer customer service, while also making sourcing, account structures, and reporting difficult to standardize. Wipro helped the customer address these challenges using Oracle Cloud.

Wipro implemented a shared-services model on Oracle Cloud, using its Jumpstart Kit for a faster migration and deploying Financials, Supply Chain, Projects, Procurement, and HCM/Taleo Cloud modules. By retiring customizations and centralizing governance, Wipro enabled process integration across global business units, reduced IT maintenance effort and spend, improved asset maintenance and regulatory reporting, and introduced self-service tools that lowered support requests.
