bp’s Remediation Management (RM) group needed a more agile way to train employees and contractors who use its Remediation Management Online (RMO) application, especially during peak training periods in March and September. The team wanted to move away from static slide decks, expensive videos, and live sessions to on-demand digital learning that would be easier to update, reduce helpdesk queries, and keep pace with evolving business processes. Wipro supported bp in designing this new training approach using WalkMe, a digital adoption platform embedded in RMO.
Wipro led the needs analysis, prioritized key use cases, and helped deploy the learning management solution, while also creating a process for producing self-serve digital content and resolving technical issues. As a result, bp now provides instant access to training materials within RMO, reducing time spent searching for help and enabling experts to create materials in days instead of weeks or months. The new system has improved training efficiency, supported supplier training, helped bridge experience gaps of six months or more, and enabled real-time “shout-out” notifications to support operational continuity and faster adoption of new functionality.
