Global Energy Network Company, a global leader in energy networks, renewable energy, and retail customer solutions, was facing major business transformation as customer expectations rose and the clean-energy market evolved. The company needed to streamline a complex renewable-energy ecosystem and modernize its IT landscape, and it turned to Wipro for an IT portfolio assessment using Wipro’s proprietary toolkit.

Wipro delivered a 360° assessment across multiple business units to identify application, cost, and architecture optimization opportunities, along with a 30-60-90 day action plan. The first wave of Wipro’s recommendations has already generated savings of more than €2.5 million per year, with further gains expected as initiatives such as app modernization, data warehouse consolidation, cloudification, and test automation are rolled out.
