Chippewa Veterinary Clinic, a veterinary facility in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, turned to Wipfli after losing its in-house bookkeeper. Wipfli had already been providing tax services and had helped with the clinic’s cafeteria and pension plans, then stepped in with interim financial accounting support before the clinic decided to outsource the work entirely.

Wipfli cleaned up and organized the clinic’s filing systems, handled payroll accounting, bill payment, invoicing, bank and credit card reconciliations, and created monthly financial statements. The clinic said it now has a better handle on expenses and key numbers, spends only about three hours a week on accounting tasks for one principal and a couple of hours every couple of weeks for another, and pays less to Wipfli than it would to hire a full-time bookkeeper, helping improve profitability.
