Pure Insurance - Customer Case Study

Pure Insurance, a policyholder-owned insurer serving high net worth individuals and families, needed to automate positive pay check fraud protection when it moved to Intacct’s financial management and accounting platform in May 2013. Because Intacct did not include an out-of-the-box positive pay component, the accounting team needed a solution that would integrate with its new accounts payable system and preserve key controls.

Brittenford Systems provided a positive pay solution built on Intacct’s Platform Services and integrated with Intacct’s Case Management Module. It went live with Pure’s initial May launch and worked immediately, requiring little ongoing attention. Pure reported that the process eliminated manual check voids, cut associated costs of $35 per void, and reduced workload and stress during monthly close.
