AtTask, a SaaS project management company headquartered in Lehi, Utah, was implementing Concur for travel and expense management and needed it to work seamlessly with its Intacct accounting software. Its existing expense process was described as clunky, and expense data tied to payroll and billable work required manual entry into accounting systems, including printed reports and a full-time manual process for invoicing customers.

Brittenford Systems provided ExpenseConnect for the Concur/Intacct integration and built a custom workaround so billable expenses could flow into Intacct as individual sales orders. The setup automatically created invoices when an expense was marked billable in Concur and reduced weekly manual data entry from 6-8 hours to literally 20 minutes, while also giving AtTask’s accounting team easier data mapping changes and better visibility for executive budget reviews.
