Accordia Global Health Foundation, a Washington, DC-based nonprofit focused on fighting infectious diseases in Africa, needed a better way to manage grant and financial reporting. Its QuickBooks system could not track grant costs across fiscal years, so the organization maintained that information in Excel spreadsheets. Accordia also needed a solution that could work without an on-premise IT infrastructure and fit a limited budget.

Brittenford Systems migrated Accordia from QuickBooks to Intacct, which eliminated the need to track grant costs manually in Excel. As a result, all grant tracking and reporting now happens in Intacct, grant managers can view up-to-date reports and dashboards in a web browser, and Accordia can track revenues and expenses by grant, funding source, events and activities, department, vendor, customer, and employee.
