Luton Borough Council, the UK local government for the town of Luton, needed to cleanse and de-duplicate many years of properties and people data while migrating to a new housing management system. To achieve a powerful, easy-to-use and affordable solution they chose WinPure and its WinPure Clean & Match data matching and cleansing software.

WinPure implemented Clean & Match to rapidly import, match and clean the council’s datasets, matching a 21,000-property dataset against an existing database of around 98,000 records in under 30 seconds. The speed and advanced matching capabilities from WinPure enabled quick cleanup, repeated re-matching to resolve remaining issues, reduced redundant records and led to further use of the tool for fraud detection and additional system data analyses.
