Särkänniemi, Finland’s large recreation centre with more than 600,000 annual visitors, needed a modern POS system that could support extensive integrations, real-time reporting, and a highly diverse operating environment across ticket sales, restaurants, and attractions. The company also required a solution that would be easy for seasonal staff to learn quickly during the busy summer season.

Winpos POS System implemented the Winpos Mega Store POS system in phases, including integrations with ERP and analytical software, while working closely with Särkänniemi’s IT team. The result was a smoother implementation, faster sales processing, fewer mistakes, and reliable operations across more than 80 points of sale. The system also proved easy to train on for about 150 summer workers each year, helping Särkänniemi maintain efficient service in peak season.
