Pikante Restaurants expands to 14 POS and 4 self-service checkouts with Winpos POS System

Pikante Restaurants, a chain of four lunch restaurants and three cafés, wanted to develop more versatile payment possibilities to serve its diverse clientele, which includes busy hospital staff and visitors. They partnered with Winpos POS System for its cutting-edge expertise in payment methods and its ability to tailor a solution.

The solution implemented by Winpos included the installation of 14 check-out points, four of which are self-service kiosks integrated with scales for a weight-based lunch model. Winpos also enabled payments via card and the Pivo app, including student identification. This provided faster service for some customers while maintaining traditional checkout options. The partnership with Winpos supports Pikante's ongoing growth, including a new 150-seat restaurant, with the goal of having at least one self-service kiosk at each location.
