Juvenes, a Finnish restaurant operator serving thousands of lunches daily at its Oulu campus locations, needed a way to handle growing meal volumes more efficiently and reduce congestion at checkout. To address this, it worked with Winpos POS System and its POS platform to improve payment flow and streamline service at Restaurant Napa and Restaurant Foobar.

Winpos POS System implemented seven self-service checkouts integrated with student identification through the Tuudo app, allowing students to scan, select a meal, and pay quickly by card while visitors and staff could pay without identification. The pilot has gone well, with about 70% of lunch guests using self-service at Napa and up to 90% at Foobar, helping Juvenes manage higher volumes, shorten queues, and improve restaurant operations.
