Fondis, a popular restaurant complex in Vaasa with multiple venues and more than ten points of sale across three floors, wanted to modernize and centralize its POS operations as well as keep pace with rapidly evolving payment technology. The customer needed faster service, better real-time business visibility, and a system that could support new payment methods across its busy restaurant environment. Winpos POS System provided the platform used for centralized business monitoring and POS management.

Winpos POS System integrated Fondis’s POS with the Procountor electronic financial management system, enabling real-time transfer of sales data and live business tracking. Winpos also helped Fondis become the first Finnish restaurant to implement Danske Bank’s MobilePay in its POS system, allowing customers to pay up to €500 via mobile phone. The result was faster, more flexible service and improved operational oversight, with Fondis positioned as an early adopter of new restaurant payment technology.
