A WinMan ERP Case Study
Extronics, a fast-growing Cheshire-based manufacturer and supplier of electrical and electronic equipment for hazardous areas, needed a robust CRM capability that was fully integrated with its accounting, manufacturing and back-office functions rather than a separate stand‑alone system. To meet this need they implemented WinMan ERP, using its integrated, task-led CRM and opportunity/project structure to manage enquiries, quotes, customer records and support cases.
WinMan ERP centralized opportunities as the “house” for quotes, emails, calls and orders, added integrated document management and engineering change control, and linked CRM data to forecasting, purchasing and KPI reporting. The result was a seamless quote-to-order process that removed the need for a separate CRM, improved planning and faster turnarounds (by enabling timely purchase of long‑lead items), better visibility of customer history and issues for sales teams, and measurable tracking of quote conversion rates and campaign performance.
