ARCOL, based in Truro, is a world-leading manufacturer of bespoke resistors that operates a Lean, make-to-order model using a multi-tier Kanban system. Faced with a disparate, semi‑bespoke production environment built on spreadsheets and duplicated data entry that constrained planning and information sharing, ARCOL invited vendors to replace its systems and selected WinMan ERP to provide a responsive, integrated solution.

WinMan ERP implemented an integrated ERP covering manufacturing, purchasing, sales, accounts, CRM, Kanban shop‑floor kiosks and Lean Back Office functions, configured with ARCOL stakeholders in under six months. The WinMan ERP solution delivered real-time “available to promise” visibility, automated Kanban transactions, faster quote and order processing and better quality tracking — driving rejects from well above 1% to well below 1%, saving the Quality Manager roughly half a day per week, shrinking order entry from days to minutes, and enabling ARCOL to produce more with fewer people and higher turnover.
