Propeller Mexico - Customer Case Study

Propeller Mexico needed high-accuracy survey data to support hydraulic modeling and help prevent flood damage in Ciudad Obregón, Mexico, where infrequent rain can still cause water to pool and flow across infrastructure. To meet a tight municipal deadline, the company chose Wingtra and its WingtraOne VTOL drone for rapid land surveying and topographic mapping.

Wingtra and Propeller Mexico mapped the 11,800 ha project in 22 flights over 4 days, achieving final accuracy of 5–7 cm. The WingtraOne enabled takeoff and landing from constrained urban and vegetated areas with minimal risk, and Propeller Mexico noted the job would likely have taken about 10 days with other equipment.
