Land titling firm saves time and money creating a cadastral system for St. Kitts

Medici Land Governance, a land titling firm working with governments to create cadastral and land registry systems, needed to map St. Kitts quickly and accurately despite volcanic terrain, steep slopes, strong winds, and limited landing options. To support its cadastral mapping work, Medici Land Governance used WingtraOne from Wingtra.

Wingtra provided a VTOL drone mapping solution that let Medici Land Governance capture high-accuracy imagery efficiently across 104 km² of the island in just 28 days and 65 flight hours, instead of the 40 days originally budgeted. Compared with manned aircraft surveys, Wingtra helped reduce data collection cost to about $70,000 versus $220,000, while also giving the team usable knowledge transfer, better field flexibility, and accurate, cloud-free data for cadastral mapping.
