Environmental Science Services, Inc. (Es²) turns around flood-control surveys in 1–2 days with Wingtra

Environmental Science Services, Inc. (Es²), a provider of geospatial services, faced the challenge of efficiently mapping a large, sensitive flood control channel for the US Army Corps of Engineers. The project required frequent, high-quality data collection to calculate volumes and create contour maps, which would be too time-consuming and labor-intensive to perform manually. To meet this need, Es² used the WingtraOne GEN II drone from Wingtra.

By implementing Wingtra's solution with the RGB61 payload, Es² significantly reduced the amount of flight time and number of batteries required for each survey. This allowed them to fly the 400-acre area within tight weather windows and quickly turn data around within one to two days.
