Drone data boosts sustainable farm prototypes in Serbia

LoginEKO, part of the Login5 Foundation, is developing sustainable, large-scale eco farming practices in Serbia and needed reliable aerial data to support plant health monitoring and management. Using WingtraOne with MicaSense RedEdge-MX and Sony RX1R II cameras, the team set out to track crop conditions across a 4,200 ha project area and understand issues such as drought, pest damage, and disease.

Wingtra provided LoginEKO with a VTOL drone solution that could operate safely in Serbia’s high winds and from very small takeoff and landing areas. Since early May 2020, LoginEKO has completed around 260 flights, collecting monthly 5 cm RGB data over the full site plus daily 7 cm multispectral and 2 cm RGB data on smaller areas, enabling more precise monitoring and analysis of crop development.
