RepLink, a Minneapolis-based leader in incentive-market sales tools, manages a centralized database of 50,000 products from 500+ brands used daily by hundreds of rep companies, suppliers and buyers worldwide. As the company moved from a distributed desktop system to a web-based platform it needed a reporting solution that non-programmers could use in Microsoft Word and that would let them reuse a large library of existing, complex Word templates.
RepLink chose Windward’s AutoTag add-in so designers could create templates directly in Word; a single developer integrated the engine quickly into the new web system. The change delivered significant time and cost savings by reusing existing layouts, letting non-IT staff produce higher-quality proposals, and reducing developer workload — with the added benefit of responsive vendor support.
