Nucleus Software, a global provider of banking and financial IT solutions, was implementing its FinnOne lending platform for a major Japanese bank that required automated, detailed month‑end customer balance statements. The standard reporting tool proved inflexible and too slow to generate the customized reports the bank needed.

Nucleus evaluated and adopted Windward, which uses Microsoft Office–based templates to quickly design and generate reports in multiple formats; a successful trial led to an easy implementation. The solution let Nucleus meet the launch timeline, cut report development time substantially, and scale monthly reporting from about 13,000 to 25,000 customers.
