Healthcare provider undergoes digital transformation to better serve patients

Leading Healthcare Service Provider, which operates 40 hospitals, 300+ physician offices and serves roughly 2.2 million patients across nine states, faced an expensive, static WAN, limited automation and visibility, aging TDM phone systems and contact centers, and fragmentation from using five different vendors. To modernize and enable cloud migration they engaged Windstream Enterprise and adopted solutions including VMware SD‑WAN Concierge™, High Bandwidth Business Internet, managed services, and Avaya‑powered UCaaS and contact center offerings.

Windstream Enterprise implemented active/active, dual‑access SD‑WAN, dedicated internet, a Complex NOC/Elite NOC managed support model, and the WE Connect portal while deploying fully managed Avaya UCaaS and CCaaS.
