A Windstream Enterprise Case Study
Olé Mexican Foods, a national packaged foods manufacturer with 1,000+ employees, faced aging IT infrastructure that left many sites with as little as 1.5 Mbps, no redundancy, frequent network freezes and expensive long‑distance dialing. To modernize communications and networking, Olé engaged Windstream Enterprise to evaluate and replace its legacy systems with 21st‑century solutions.
Windstream Enterprise implemented a single‑vendor solution including a 29‑location MPLS network, a 210‑seat Mitel UCaaS deployment, and a new redundant data‑center architecture (three sites at 50 Mbps, HQ and DC at 250 Mbps). The migration was completed without downtime, eliminated network freezes, maintained data spend while vastly increasing bandwidth, cut voice costs by tens of thousands annually (UCaaS ROI in ~1 year), and provided a scalable platform and ongoing support for future growth.
