Ace Industries - Customer Case Study

Ace Industries, the largest independent crane and hoist company in the U.S. (founded 1932, headquartered in Norcross, GA, with 28 facilities and ~250 employees), faced the challenge of reliably connecting 20+ remote offices, home offices and a mobile workforce (150+ field technicians and about two dozen mobile sales users) while preparing for future growth. To address this, Ace partnered with Windstream Enterprise, leveraging services such as MPLS VPN, managed SSL VPNs, VoIP/voice and secure remote access.

Windstream Enterprise implemented a fully managed, standardized platform — combining dedicated data services, MPLS networking, VoIP, secure remote access and 24x7 managed security — enabling seamless site-to-site connectivity and a unified phone system. The result was exceptional, reliable voice and data across all locations (supporting 150+ technicians, two dozen mobile users and 20+ sites), easier addition of new locations as Ace grew from seven to 20+ sites, and freed IT to focus on core business objectives while Windstream Enterprise manages connectivity and security.
