Artbeads.com, the world’s largest online beading community (est. 1999), needed to deepen engagement and retain the high-value customers who drive most of its sales. With more than 3 million orders shipped and roughly 90% of revenue from repeat buyers, the challenge was to turn purchase and behavioral data into personalized, timely communications that keep customers coming back.

Using Windsor Circle and Oracle Responsys, Artbeads.com deployed automated, data-driven campaigns—product-education and replenishment emails, birthday and anniversary messages, and targeted “best customer” promos—to create a tailored post-purchase experience. The results were strong: overall automated emails drove a 183% lift in opens and 37% more clicks versus standard promos, product-education emails saw a 274% open and 544% click increase, repeat buyers rose 73%, and the program has generated over $1M in lifecycle marketing revenue.
