PATEO, a Chinese automotive company, needed to quickly add iOS connectivity to its Android-based in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system to reach Apple users. Wind River implemented a software solution that allowed the IVI system to treat docked iOS devices as accessories and play content from them. As a result, Wind River helped PATEO integrate the iOS connectivity quickly and safely, ensuring the enhanced system could reach the market on time without any negative impact on the development timeline.
