FITSCO shortens train signaling time-to-market by 12.5% with Wind River

FITSCO, a Chinese transportation company, faced the challenge of developing an automated train protection system that needed to meet the stringent SIL4 safety certification. To achieve this goal, they partnered with vendor Wind River.

Wind River provided its VxWorks Cert Platform and Professional Services to deliver a certified commercial off-the-shelf solution and seamless integration. As a result, FITSCO successfully achieved SIL4 certification on time and within budget. The project also saw a 12.5% improvement in efficiency, shortening time-to-market by three months.
