DTRA rapidly builds a live DCT registry prototype with Windmill
The Decentralized Trials & Research Alliance (DTRA), a non-profit global industry organization, faced the challenge of consistently demonstrating the impact of Decentralized Clinical Trial (DCT) methods across the biopharmaceutical industry. They lacked tools for standardized tracking and cross-industry benchmarking. To address this, DTRA engaged Windmill Digital for a discovery, design thinking, and prototype design project.
Windmill Digital conducted an intensive discovery process with DTRA and its members, using workshops and a MoSCoW prioritization approach. The solution was an interactive prototype for a central DCT intelligence registry. This Windmill Digital design allows biopharmaceutical sponsors to securely track studies using DCT methods, benchmark performance, and share knowledge, creating a new industry-first impact measurement to build confidence in DCT adoption.
