The Durst Organization, a New York-based real estate developer, faced the challenge of delivering a large mixed-use tower in Long Island City with a BIM requirement that would support both construction and long-term operations. Willow Inc implemented a digital strategy to define requirements, collect and manage 3D models and asset data, and link asset register records to the as-built model. The result was faster access to asset information during commissioning, reduced risk of damage and rework, improved confidence in handover data for operations teams, and greater transparency into design and construction progress.
