Global Switch, a data centre owner-operator with sites across Europe and Asia Pacific, needed support delivering its Hong Kong data centre while ensuring the project met its digital and operational requirements. Willow Inc provided WillowDigital™ Digital Engineering and Digital Project Management services to help define the digital vision, manage BIM requirements, and keep construction and delivery aligned with Global Switch’s standards.

Willow Inc implemented a structured digital delivery approach that included model audits, coordination support, asset data reviews, and guidance on site-driven changes. As a result, Global Switch received a consistent Digital Strategy Framework, improved collaboration through BIM, better cost-checking and coordination, prefabrication and installation efficiencies, and a structured as-built asset data record for smoother integration with operations; the Hong Kong project reached digital delivery handover in March 2021.
