City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra fills 100+ concerts a year with Wild Ilk

The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) required a fresh and flexible design concept to engage its diverse audiences across a wide range of events. They tasked vendor Wild Ilk with evolving their existing creative style to better capture their extensive community and musical activities throughout the West Midlands.

Wild Ilk developed an "instrumentscape," a visual system combining graphical images of Birmingham landmarks, musicians, and instruments. This versatile solution was applied consistently across brochures, posters, and leaflets for the orchestra's 18/19 season. The new design by Wild Ilk is built to evolve over time, reflecting the dynamic nature of both the city and the orchestra's performances.
