Organization Grows Over 300% in 3 years

Connecting for Kids, a Cleveland-area nonprofit founded in 2011 to support families with children who have developmental or behavioral concerns, faced the challenge of rapidly scaling membership, events and fundraising while operating with minimal staff. To manage growth and day-to-day administration, they used Wild Apricot’s membership management platform to run their website, registrations and member communications.

Using Wild Apricot’s simple, easy-to-update tools alongside smart marketing, donation-based memberships, personal outreach and focused fundraising, Connecting for Kids expanded from 264 members in 2012 to 1,082 in 2015 (over 300% growth), grew event registrations from 77 to 4,695 (over 6,000%), and increased revenue from $13,816 to $101,739 (+636%), demonstrating Wild Apricot’s role in enabling fast, sustainable scaling.
