SAP BusinessObjects Migration and Ensuring User Satisfaction

Orange worked with Wiiisdom to migrate SAP BusinessObjects from XI 3.1 SP03 to BI 4.2 SP05. The challenge was to improve user satisfaction after years of bugs, browser compatibility issues, and performance problems, while also protecting critical reporting used for management control and financial closing.

Wiiisdom used 360Suite products, especially 360Bind and 360Cast, to test all documents in a sandbox, compare report data across environments, and automate dynamic publications. The migration was validated with only 83 documents flagged for review, including 4 minor anomalies and 2 malfunctions, and Orange avoided post-migration maintenance. User perception improved from an NPS of -63 before the migration to +25 and then +60 by the end of the project.
