How UCLA Health Implemented an SAP BusinessObjects Disaster Recovery Plan

University of California, Los Angeles Health needed a disaster recovery plan for its SAP BusinessObjects environment, but its large deployment made backup and restore operations slow and difficult to manage. With 1,900 users, a 300GB FRS, 20K reports, and 100K instances, UCLA Health looked for a better way to recover quickly without relying on unsupported virtualization or an OS-level approach. The organization turned to Wiiisdom’s 360Suite 360Plus product for a SAP BusinessObjects-specific DR solution.

Wiiisdom implemented 360Plus to back up and restore SAP BusinessObjects at the application level, allowing UCLA Health to switch to its DR site simply by adjusting the load balancer.
