The Cleveland Browns partnered with Wicket to build upon three years of success with their Express Access facial ticketing system. Their objective was to further enhance the fan experience and drive revenue by expanding the use of Wicket's technology into new areas at Huntington Bank Field, including concessions and access control.
Wicket implemented Express Access for ticketing and a new pilot program called Express Beer for concessions, allowing fans to enter the stadium and make purchases using facial authentication. The solution delivered impressive results, including a fourfold increase in the speed of ingress and concessions, an average of $8,000 in cost savings per express lane per season, and a 171% ROI in the first year of the Express Beer deployment. The fan response was extremely positive, with the system earning a 9.3/10 rating in surveys and saving over 1,126 fan hours through faster transactions.
