Nadiya builds a calm, clear charity brand with WHP Creative in 2008

Nadiya, a UK-based charity supporting civilians displaced by the war in Ukraine, needed a brand identity that could balance warmth and empathy with clarity and trust for its urgent and sensitive work. The challenge for vendor WHP Creative was to create communications that were clear and accessible while still reflecting the human reality behind connecting hosts with those in need of a safe place to stay.

WHP Creative developed a visual and verbal identity built around the name Nadiya, which means hope. The solution used simple, direct language and an open, approachable visual system with a restrained palette and clear typography. This created a calm, clear, and considered identity that helps the charity communicate its work with confidence while keeping people at the center of the story. WHP Creative also provided guidelines and assets to ensure consistent application across all communications.
