TEDxAmericasFinestCity, an independently organized TED event, needed to maximize attendee engagement and networking during a single-day program. They partnered with Whova and used the Whova app to centralize event information and drive participation in real time.

With Whova, TEDxAmericasFinestCity deployed interactive challenges (with instructions and rewards), an easy-access Social Media Channels section, and a Demo Area listing participating vendors. Those features produced measurable results: 3,226 total in-app actions and 2,334 networking actions, showing Whova helped the event achieve engagement on par with multi-day conferences.
