FORGE - Customer Case Study

FORGE, a community of students, faculty, physicians, and entrepreneurs, ran the FORGE Healthcare Hackathon 2014 to bring 100 hackers together to solve real healthcare problems in 34 hours. FORGE needed a direct channel to communicate with attendees and a central place to store event information, so they worked with Whova to support their event.

Whova provided its event app (including Agenda, Attendee Profiles, Discover, Sponsors, Slide/Album and Logistics features) to publish judging criteria, special challenge info, mentor locations, addresses, parking and floor plans, and more. The Whova-powered event generated 8,486 total in-app actions and 1,212 networking actions, with many profile exchanges and bookmarks, improving information flow and attendee engagement.
