62nd London International Youth Science Forum unites 400+ students with Whova

The 62nd London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF) faced the challenge of transitioning its long-running event to a hybrid format to equally engage both in-person and remote international students. They partnered with the event platform Whova to create an interactive and unified learning space for all attendees, ensuring remote participants could fully participate.

Using Whova's hybrid event tools, LIYSF streamed live sessions, hosted virtual exhibitor booths for scientific visits, and set up a digital Artifact Center for student poster presentations. Whova’s gamification features and Speed Networking sessions drove significant engagement, resulting in over 24,000 community messages, 6,000 private app messages, and 2,000+ poll responses, successfully connecting a diverse global audience.
