To support their global vulnerability notification campaign, they turned to WhoisXML API for WHOIS data.

WhoisXML API provided domain WHOIS records with owner contact information that the researchers used to reach affected parties more effectively. The case study reports that using email addresses from WhoisXML API significantly reduced notification bounce rates, improving the success of their outreach effort.
