EIT Health, a European Institute of Technology, faced a challenge in manually finding and recommending upskilling courses for its startups in key areas like AI, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain. This inefficient process consumed a great deal of time. WhiteBox addressed this with its SkillSync platform, which was designed to automate skill analysis and course matching.

WhiteBox implemented automated extraction engines to collect course data and used NLP models to identify skills based on the European ESCO ontology. They built a hybrid recommendation system to provide personalized course suggestions.
