Volkswagen Financial Services UK faced a challenge when the Volkswagen Group adopted a global SAP back‑office strategy: how to retain the functionality of its best‑of‑breed contract management while becoming SAP‑compliant. Volkswagen Financial Services worked with White Clarke Group to migrate to an SAP‑compliant Contract Management System (and extend to a Fleet Management solution) that would fit the Group’s NetWeaver‑based landscape without losing the existing business agility.

White Clarke Group delivered a no‑compromise, fully independent SAP‑compliant CMS that manages the complete contract lifecycle and integrates via SAP PI (XI) and with White Clarke Group’s Point‑of‑Sale system. The solution is live in the UK and Ireland, supports a portfolio of around 300,000 contracts and some 200 users, and required only SAP basis components—enabling a smooth transition and prompting Volkswagen Financial Services to begin migrating its Fleet Services.
