Library Kingdom Cooperation is a global distributor of independent films with more than 7,000 titles, but it struggled to make its content easier to discover and to close deals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Its existing digital platforms were inefficient, lacked useful data insights, and were not user-friendly, so LKC turned to Whip Media and the Whip Media Exchange to expand reach and improve access to new and existing buyers.
With Whip Media Exchange, LKC used a broad buyer network, Demand Score insights, and first-party viewer data to identify the best platforms for its titles and streamline dealmaking. The results included a new AVOD deal for 60 titles with a major Asia-based multinational electronics and streaming company, renewed interest from an existing global ad-supported streaming partner, and improved visibility, tracking, and reporting for hundreds of titles. LKC has since uploaded hundreds more titles and hired a dedicated employee to manage the Whip Media Exchange.
