A Whimsical Case Study
Goodpatch is an international design company with 190 people across Tokyo, Berlin, and Munich. The team needed a more collaborative way to work across designers, non-designers, and clients, since tools like Keynote made collaboration difficult and file sharing was inefficient. They turned to Whimsical to support internal and client collaboration on activities like user journeys, project planning, wireframes, product architecture, brainstorming, and OKR tracking.
With Whimsical, Goodpatch streamlined communication and improved alignment across teams and disciplines. The vendor, Whimsical, gave them a single tool that everyone could use, helping people map ideas together and share them easily with others who were not part of the original discussion. Goodpatch still uses other design tools for specialized work, but Whimsical now plays a central role in planning and visualizing work before it moves into Keynote and other production tools.
