Case Study: Trips and Tramps improves offline guest management with Wherewolf

A Wherewolf Case Study

Preview of the Trips and Tramps Case Study

The Wherewolf Check-in Is A Guest’s First Step On Their Epic Hike

Trips and Tramps, a Fiordland National Park hiking operator in New Zealand, needed a reliable way to manage guest check-ins and waiver collection in a remote environment with little or no internet or mobile connectivity. They also needed a better way to capture customer details for legal, operational, and marketing purposes, especially for bookings handled through third-party agents.

Wherewolf provided an offline-capable digital waiver and guest check-in system that Trips and Tramps uses on iPads in their vans and at pickup points. The solution lets staff store data without Wi-Fi and sync it later at the depot, saving time versus paper-based check-ins and improving access to customer records. As a result, Trips and Tramps gained centralized, easy-to-analyze guest data, stronger health-and-safety follow-up capability, and insights they can use to create better guest experiences and more targeted marketing.
