Leading Automotive Company, a global manufacturer of trucks, buses and construction equipment, needed to combine high‑volume sensor data from vehicles with operational systems to create differentiated offers, improve service and lift thin margins. To tackle this, they partnered with WhereScape to build an integrated Enterprise Data Warehouse and manage ingestion and modelling of sensor and operational data (deployed into their IBM Netezza EDW).

WhereScape automated planning and the build of a single, global modelling‑standard EDW—accelerating delivery into the IBM Netezza EDW up to 10× faster than traditional methods—and enabled a model‑driven approach across five sites. The result: shorter time‑to‑market for BI solutions, improved data consistency and traceability, support for predictive maintenance and fuel/driver analytics, and measurable profitability gains (including up to a 5% margin improvement on certain used‑truck sales, equating to millions of Euros).
