IQVIA, a global leader in health information technologies and clinical research, provides a BI solution for hospitals in Belgium and manages data from logistics, finance, HR and other sources. Facing the need to update 40–80 customer-specific environments per release—with each client using different source systems and modules—the team found hand coding would have taken years and been error-prone. IQVIA evaluated ETL tools but turned to Data Warehouse Automation and chose WhereScape for its maturity and fit.

WhereScape implemented an automated, drag-and-drop approach that regenerates code and commits required changes, cutting tasks that used to take five to ten manual steps down to about two minutes. The WhereScape solution eliminated human error, made configuration flexible across many environments, and provided detailed reports and documentation that greatly simplify data lineage and impact analysis.
