Automation delivers consolidated customer view to Xerox Financial Services

Xerox Financial Services, part of Xerox and a $2bn business operating across 16 countries, struggled with fragmented, inconsistent data—different accountancy practices, contract-management versions and business rules—which made consolidated reporting impossible, left management with rigid monthly reports, and prevented timely business insight. Multiple IT attempts failed and the Information Management team needed an interim, scalable solution while longer-term CRM work continued.

WhereScape delivered WhereScape RED to automate the entire data-warehouse lifecycle and built LeaseCube (a 2.5TB warehouse, with 95% of the build done singlehandedly), producing a two-day proof of concept for the hardest market. WhereScape’s solution cut report latency from 30 days to 24 hours, reduced data collation from months to days, enabled automation of credit scorecard decisions (raising auto decision rates to 47.8% from the low–mid teens), lowered analyst costs and reduced risk through consolidated, auditable visibility.
