A State Governmental Agency (the State of Missouri Department of Revenue) faced fragmented mainframe and independent data systems that made linking motor vehicle, driver’s license and tax data slow and manual, and anticipated the need to sunset its legacy mainframe. To tackle this, the agency engaged WhereScape and used WhereScape automation for Teradata.

WhereScape automated the design, development and deployment of motor vehicle data into the agency’s enterprise data warehouse, enabling a small IT team to complete the initial project in three months. Today the WhereScape solution loads about 900 tables nightly and has cut reporting and data-assembly time from weeks or months to minutes, giving the agency faster, clearer insight into its revenue streams.
