The London startup that’s planting trees like the planet depends on it

Brynk, a London startup led by founder Luke Evans, is on a mission to reforest the planet by enabling people and companies to live climate‑positive lives. To scale tree‑planting programs, engage customers and employees, and stay connected through the pandemic, Brynk adopted Whereby for company meetings and Whereby Embedded to host larger community events and integrate video directly on its site.

Whereby provided a simple, brandable meeting platform and embedding tools that let Brynk apply its Impact Forest backgrounds, run community sessions, and launch the joint Whereby Forest campaign (one tree planted for every three Whereby meetings). The partnership helped Brynk raise visibility and maintain connection while delivering measurable impact: the Whereby Forest hit a 1 million‑tree goal in February, complementing Brynk’s own progress of 167,000 trees planted and 1.5 million trees committed for 2021.
