Branded3, a search and digital marketing agency led on UX by Andy Curry, needed a reliable way to prove and improve user experience across client projects to protect search rankings and drive conversions after algorithm changes like Google’s Panda. To increase collaboration, secure stakeholder buy-in, and audit existing work for usability problems, Branded3 adopted WhatUsersDo’s remote UX testing (the self-serve platform) as a core part of its research toolkit.

Using WhatUsersDo, Branded3 ran remote tests at project kickoff, during audits, and alongside lab testing, surveys and in-person research to create personas, align content and development teams, and uncover deep UX issues that were harming SEO. The WhatUsersDo platform made tests fast to set up and easy to review via video, helped turn stakeholders into advocates, and enabled Branded3 to quantify the SEO and revenue impact of poor design (including putting a dollar value on traffic and sales lost from disappearing pages).
